Miguel A. Lopez advises and represents clients on matters involving the protection of trade secrets and proprietary data, worker classification and independent contractor issues, sales commissions, and exemptions to the federal and state overtime laws. He has extensive experience working with clients in the technology and healthcare sectors, among others, and has a special interest in start-up and gig-economy businesses.

Miguel represents clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including matters involving unfair competition, worker misclassification, and executive compensation. He litigates in federal and state courts, and has arbitrated at FINRA, JAMS, and the American Arbitration Association.

From 2012 to 2014, Miguel served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Ursula Ungaro of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
