Miguel A. Lopez regularly advises and represents clients on matters involving trade secret disputes, worker classification for independent contractors, and exemptions to the federal and state overtime laws. He has a special interest in start-up and gig-economy businesses, as well as minority- and LGBT-owned enterprises.

Miguel represents clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including matters involving executive compensation, unfair competition, and wage and hour classifications. He litigates in federal and state courts, and has arbitrated at FINRA, JAMS, and the American Arbitration Association.

Prior to joining Littler, Miguel was an attorney at a leading litigation firm, as well as in-house counsel at a financial services firm. From 2012-2014, Miguel served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Ursula Ungaro of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida.
