Panoramica

Tanner McCarron counsels employers concerning challenges that arise in the workplace. He has trial and appellate experience resulting from his wide-ranging litigation practice in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He also represents employers in arbitration proceedings and before administrative agencies.

Substantively, Tanner has defended employers of all sizes in class actions and single-plaintiff claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, The Family and Medical Leave Act, Railway Labor Act, the WARN Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and their state counterparts.

Tanner also assists employers in matters regarding unfair competition, trade secrets, and covenants not to compete, both in enforcement and defense.

During law school, Tanner externed for the Hon. Robert B. Kugler, U.S. District Judge, District of New Jersey. He also served as senior staff on the Villanova Law Review and worked as a student attorney for the Villanova Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic.

While pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tanner held positions in the offices of several members of the U.S. House of Representatives, including in House leadership, and public policy organizations throughout Washington, D.C.
