(August 29, 2018) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has appointed Shareholder Arthur Carter (Dallas) as co-chair of its Business Restructuring and M&A practice group, succeeding Shareholder Robert Long (New York/Chicago/Miami).

Carter joins Shareholder and Co-Chair Kerry Notestine (Houston) to lead Littler’s team that advises clients on how to structure the employment and labor aspects of major corporate transactions. “Bob has been instrumental in growing this team and its capabilities, and we’re grateful for his leadership and service,” Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler, said in a joint statement. “Art is an outstanding attorney with a strong business acumen who, along with Kerry, will continue to expand and elevate the firm’s offerings in this area.”

“Labor and employment issues are a strategic underpinning to complex, high-stakes deals and restructurings, and I’m excited to work with Kerry to further the momentum of the Business Restructuring and M&A practice group,” added Carter.
