TORONTO (August 24, 2017) – Littler LLP, the world’s largest employment and labour law practice representing management, is pleased to announce that Toronto Partners Barry Kuretzky and George Vassos were recognized for the 12th consecutive year on The Best Lawyers in Canada© list. They were each selected by peers in the practice area of labour and employment law.

Kuretzky has practiced labour and employment law for nearly 40 years, representing a number of Canada’s largest organizations. He regularly counsels clients in matters of wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights, disability and accommodation, among others. He was recently named among the Leading Practitioners in the 2017 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory. Kuretzky also has received the Continuing Legal Education Long-Term Achievement Award from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Vassos has focused his practice on advocacy before administrative tribunals and trials and appellate courts for over 30 years. He provides strategic and proactive guidance on a range of employment and labour issues, from wrongful dismissal and employment litigation to human rights and alternative dispute resolution. From 2009 to 2016, Vassos was named to the World’s Leading Lawyers in Labour and Employment list published in the Labour & Employment Expert Guide. From 1997 to 2016, he was a recipient of Lexpert’s Peer Recommendation in Employment Law honour, and he was recently named among the Leading Practitioners in the 2017 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory.
