Littler Recognized as "Top Performer" by Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

(October 24, 2016) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as a 2016 Top Performer. This is the third consecutive year that Littler has earned this designation, which is given to LCLD’s most active member corporations and law firms.

“Receiving the ‘Top Performer’ designation from LCLD underscores our continued mission to create and cultivate a diverse and inclusive firm,” said Tom Bender and Jeremy Roth, co-managing directors of Littler, in a joint statement. “It is a privilege to partner with LCLD and further its work of improving equality in the profession and enhancing legal career opportunities for all.”

Littler was one of 41 out of 250 member organizations that were designated a top performer and selected for actively participating in LCLD programs to support its mission of creating a more inclusive legal profession. This year, Littler nominated Edward Chyun as the firm’s 2016 Fellow, selected Hanna Badmus and Derrick Lam as 2016 Pathfinders, hosted 1L Scholars and participated in the Success in Law School Mentoring Program.

As a leader in diversity and inclusion, Littler continues to earn recognition for its innovative diversity initiatives and inclusive culture. Recently, the firm received the Drucilla Stender Ramey Majority-Owned Law Firm Award from the California Minority Counsel Program and won the inaugural national Sager Award from the Minority Corporate Counsel Association for its Career Advocacy Program. Littler was also certified as a "Gold Standard Firm" by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum and was ranked a top law firm by Working Mother magazine and Vault.
