Who knows what the California Legislature and Governor Jerry Brown have done this past year that affects California’s private sector employers?

We do!  We’ve sorted through the 4,233 bills introduced in the 2013-2014 regular session of the California Legislature, and culled the major bills affecting Golden State private sector employers that made it through the legislative gauntlet and were signed by Governor Jerry Brown by the September 30 deadline. The big ones—so far— include the new and far-reaching paid sick leave law, and an expansion of the basis of prohibited national origin discrimination in employment, based on the new “AB 60 driver’s licenses” which will be issued soon.  And there will be more by the time of the webinar.

In this October 7 webinar, we’ll review with you what passed, what you need to do to remain in compliance starting January 1, 2015, and predict for you what’ll be in the next wave of legislation affecting employers in 2015.
