How does the US Supreme Court decision on healthcare reform impact the future use of contingent workers? The risk of worker misclassification, and potential liability, continues to grow. California law now imposes penalties of up to $25,000 per violation for independent contractor misclassification. Is your company at risk? What are the practical implications of implementing a 1099 compliance program? How does this relate to an overall Contingent Workforce Program? This program will feature contingent worker legal experts for a two hour session addressing new legal developments and cases in this area of the law, an update on co-employment issues and worker term limits, and a comprehensive review of independent contractor compliance and risk mitigation.
