Perspectiva General

A leading defense employment litigator, Kevin Lilly advises and represents clients in both state and federal court trials, pretrial litigation, and arbitration. His experience spans from complaint to trial in cases involving:

  • Wrongful termination
  • Sexual harassment
  • Employment discrimination
  • The Employee Retirement Income Security Act

He works to implement creative and practical defense strategies in complex cases, sometimes where routine defense approaches have failed, and is highly-regarded for his expertise in conducting human resources investigations.

As a core member of the firm's Class Action Practice Group, Kevin's robust defense of employment class actions makes Littler Mendelson one of the dominant defense firms in the Los Angeles area. He has been principally responsible for the defense of numerous class action matters, including several high-profile employment class actions.

Kevin is an instructor with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and helped to design Littler's interactive Conducting Lawful Investigations program. He has taught the program to hundreds of attorneys and other professionals throughout the United States for the past five years and frequently speaks to professional and civic groups throughout the nation on employment law and litigation.

Kevin represents many of the most recognizable corporations in the world, including top-ten corporations in insurance, energy, media and retail.

In law school, Kevin was an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.
