ADA, FMLA, state and local leave laws, oh my! The COVID-19 pandemic has left an indelible impact on the workplace, and resulted in a wave of medical leave and other accommodation requests, particularly as employers shift from remote to hybrid and in-person work. In this webinar, the speakers will review employers' obligations under the relevant laws and tackle the most common and challenging leave and accommodation scenarios we see as our economy continues to emerge from the pandemic. They will provide practical guidance, including regarding how to analyze requests under the leave laws specific to the DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) region as well as federal laws.

Topics will include:

  • Complex return to work and work-from-home requests
  • Performance issues commingled with protected leaves or accommodations
