Rebecca Schach represents employers on a wide range of employment matters both in Washington and California. Her practice includes employment litigation in state and federal court, as well as arbitrations, mediations, and trials. Rebecca's clients have included employers in the agriculture, maritime and seafood, healthcare, and trucking and transportation industries.

She has specific experience with claims involving:

  • The Family and Medical Leave Act
  • The Fair Labor Standards Act
  • The California Family Rights Act
  • Washington wage and hour laws

Rebecca has successfully defended employers against claims in state and federal court in many phases of employment disputes including pleadings, law and motion, complex discovery issues, and mediation. Her experience includes defending employers in wage and hour class actions, collective actions, and PAGA representative lawsuits.

Rebecca provides counsel regarding wage and hour issues, termination guidance and risk assessment, as well as independent contractor review. As part of her practice, she has also conducted worksite wage and hour audits, workplace violence investigations, and supervisor training.
