Francis Raso focuses his practice on counseling and representing management clients in labor and employment matters.
Prior to joining Littler, Frank worked as a deputy attorney general for the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office. In this capacity, Frank handled all aspects of civil rights and employment litigation matters on behalf of various State of New Jersey entities, including but not limited to, the State Police, the Department of Corrections, the Juvenile Justice Commission, the Administrative Office of the Courts, the Office of Attorney Ethics, the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, New Jersey Transit, Montclair State University, and the College of New Jersey. During this time, he acquired experience conducting pre-trial discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and negotiating settlements. He also gained extensive appellate experience in both the civil rights and employment litigation arenas, and tried a CEPA case to completion in the Mercer County Superior Court.
Previously, Frank served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Jose L. Fuentes, a presiding judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. During law school, he completed externships with the U.S. District Court and the Internal Revenue Service.
