Dru Selden represents and counsels employers on a range of labor and employment matters before federal and state courts, federal agencies, and state employment agencies. Her practice primarily focuses on:

  • Union organizing campaigns and elections under the National Labor Relations Act
  • Labor relations strategy and vulnerability audits
  • Collective bargaining
  • Unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board
  • Labor grievances and arbitrations, including disciplinary and contract interpretation matters
  • Federal and state discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters related to Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Illinois Human Rights Act

During law school, Dru was notes and comments editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. She also served as president of the Emory Public Interest Committee and as a coordinator for the Know Your Rights Project. Dru gained experience as a legal extern for a variety of organizations, including the Georgia Innocence Project, Southern Center for Human Rights, and the Federal Defender Program for the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to attending law school, Dru was a teacher in St. Louis Public Schools, and worked as a project assistant at another law firm, where she assisted the labor and employment practice group.
