Finally, the Final Rule on Overtime

On Tuesday, September 24, the Department of Labor published its Final Rule to the "white collar" overtime exemptions, which goes into effect on January 1, 2020. With less than 100 days until January 1, compliance with the new rule is now on the clock.

Under the new rule, employers will be required to pay overtime to any employee earning a salary below $684 per week ($35,568 annually). Former Wage and Hour Administrator Tammy McCutchen, Shareholder Lee Schreter, and ComplianceHR CEO Lori Brown will discuss:
