Littler's Kristy L. Peters Has Been Named Among the 50 Most Influential Women in Arizona by AzBusiness Magazine

PHOENIX (August 8, 2019) – Kristy L. Peters, a shareholder at Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has been named among the 50 Most Influential Women in Arizona by AzBusiness Magazine. Honorees were selected for their impact to their organizations, to the region’s business climate and to the local community. All 50 women will be recognized at an awards dinner at the Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Phoenix on Thursday, August 22.

At Littler, Peters represents and counsels employers regarding all types of labor and employment matters. She litigates in federal and state courts on workplace issues such as wrongful termination claims, discrimination and harassment claims, and trade secrets and unfair competition claims. She also regularly appears in front of the EEOC in the investigation, mediation and conciliation process.

In 2018, she was selected by the chief judge of the District of Arizona to be a Ninth Circuit lawyer representative, and she is the immediate past president of the Phoenix Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. She has been named by The Best Lawyers in America© for the past two years. She also has been awarded the AV® Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

Peters earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and her B.B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.
