ABA Young Lawyers Division Names Littler's William H. Ng Among 2019 Top 40 Young Lawyers

(June 28, 2019) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, is pleased to announce that Long Island Shareholder William H. Ng has been recognized as a Top 40 Young Lawyer by the American Bar Association (ABA) Young Lawyers Division.

The annual “On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyers” list provides national recognition for 40 ABA young lawyer members who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, innovation, vision, leadership and legal and community service. A selection committee comprised of practicing attorneys in private practice and in-house positions reviewed nominations and made selections based on the reputation of the nominator, the professional relationship between the nominator and the nominee and the nominator’s firsthand knowledge of the nominee’s experience, skill and character.

“William is an excellent example of the caliber of our attorneys who go above and beyond in their practice, providing high quality and forward-thinking legal services to clients, and we congratulate him on this prestigious and well-deserved honor,” said John Bauer, Long Island office managing shareholder.

Ng represents and advises private and public employers in various aspects of labor and employment law. His practice focuses on defending businesses and companies in employment litigation matters and wage and hour class and collective actions. In addition to his litigation practice, Ng regularly counsels employers on their workplace policies and practices for compliance with federal, state and local employment laws. Active in the legal community, he is a member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).  Ng served as AABANY’s Vice President of Finance & Development and was a founding co-chair of the organization’s Labor and Employment Law Committee.

Ng earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Binghamton University.
