Perspectiva General

Anthony Kuchulis focuses his practice on helping employers and management solve difficult employment questions and challenges. This includes creative strategies for approaching litigation and often unconventional advice work that includes an analysis of all legal and nonlegal options available to ensure the best possible outcome to the most complex problems. With over a decade of trial experience, Anthony has represented employers and businesses in the northwest and across the country of all sizes, on all matters.

Anthony also helps defend businesses and management from state and federal labor department complaints, including OSHA, BOLI, WISHA, DOL, EEOC (and more) so that the full story is conveyed as persuasively as possible. He has significant experience trying cases to juries, arbitrators and judges. He has practiced in many different areas of law, but now focuses on discrimination, disability, retaliation, protected leave, and wage and hour claims.

Anthony has also helped develop the next generation of risk management trainings, including DEI and anti-discrimination programs, which focus on employee engagement, keeping the conversation relevant and addressing only the most pressing questions through lively discussion and entertaining real-world examples from experience.

After graduating Lewis and Clark Law School with honors, Anthony worked at several top northwest law firms before transitioning his regional successes to the next level with Littler Mendelson’s global network of offices. Littler is the largest and most reputable management-side employment law firm in the world. Anthony is highly rated by several platforms, including nearly a decade on the list for Super Lawyers under the categories of civil litigation and employment law. He also served on several executive committees for the Oregon State Bar and American Bar Association, and founded the 501(c)(3) charity Red Gala Foundation, which raises funding for local nonprofit causes.

Anthony prides himself on being a partner to his business clients and a legal consultant that examines all aspects of a challenge for the most expeditious solution. He will work to find the most practical and economical long term solutions to the most pressing employment law challenges.
