This training satisfies the Annual Sexual Harassment Training Requirement Under New York State and City Law

Both New York State and the New York City recently adopted legislation targeting sex discrimination and sexual harassment in the workplace. State Labor Law now requires that all New York employers, regardless of their size, provide sexual harassment training annually to all New York- based employees.

To help employers implement the required training, Littler attorney-trainers Emily Haigh and Devjani Mishra will lead five public webinars in 2019, to satisfy the requirements before the October 9, 2019 deadline. This course is designed to enable New York employees to understand, identify and help prevent sexual harassment in the workplace, consistent with New York and federal law. The interactive one-hour presentation covers the training requirements through a combination of engaging video vignettes, multiple choice questions, and hypothetical scenarios. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions, which will be used for discussion at the end of the training.
