Littler Shareholders Scott Forman and Garry Mathiason Recognized as “Fastcase 50” Legal Innovators

Scott A. Forman, a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors in the Miami office, is the founder of the firm’s award-winning Littler CaseSmart® platform. A true innovator, Forman provides strategic direction to Littler’s ongoing efforts to develop technology platforms that reengineer the delivery of legal services and enhance collaboration. He leads a team of over 50 lawyers, researchers and technologists working within the Littler CaseSmart model. Garry G. Mathiason is a shareholder in the San Francisco office and Chair of the firm’s Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Automation Industry group. A pioneer in the area of labor and employment law, Mathiason has been at the forefront of legal innovation for decades. In his role as chair of the Robotics Practice, he provides legal advice and representation to the robotics industry, as well as employers deploying this technology in the workplace. As a senior shareholder at the firm, Mathiason has been involved in more than 1,000 employment and litigation matters and currently defends employers in wage and hour and discrimination class action cases. He also oversees Littler’s Corporate Compliance & Ethics Practice Group and is a founder of the legal technology company, NAVEX Global, the ethics and compliance experts.
