EEOC to Hold Public Meeting to Provide Update on Strategic Plan

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has announced its intent to provide an update on its implementation of the Commission’s Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2012-2016Approved one year ago, the Strategic Plan outlines the agency’s goals and achievement benchmarks for enforcing the various anti-discrimination laws under its jurisdiction, as well as its mission to carry out education and outreach efforts.

The first portion of the meeting will address the EEOC’s progress in executing the Strategic Plan. The EEOC will devote the remainder of the meeting – which will be closed to the public – to administrative matters.

This meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. EST in the Commission Meeting Room on the First Floor of the EEOC Office Building, 131 "M" Street, NE, Washington, D.C. 20507. Seating is limited, so those interested in attending the public session are encouraged to arrive a half hour beforehand.
