Littler’s Patrick DeBlasio Awarded 2013 Client Choice Award by the International Law Office and Lexology

MIAMI, FL (March, 2013) – Patrick G. DeBlasio, a shareholder in the Miami office of Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the world’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has been awarded the 2013 International Law Office (ILO) and Lexology Client Choice Award in Employment & Labor in the U.S. and Canada. Established in 2005, the Client Choice Awards recognizes law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Law firms and individuals can only be nominated for these awards by corporate counsel.

“Pat possesses a unique ability to provide practical advice to his clients so they not only get the results they want, but they do so in a way that makes the most sense for their business,” said Scott A. Forman, managing shareholder of Littler’s Miami office. “This award is a testament to the fact that Pat is a true business partner with his clients.”

Winners of the Client Choice Award were selected through a survey administered exclusively to senior corporate counsel, with this year’s winners chosen from more than 1,000 individual client assessments. Firms and partners were assessed on the following criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology. This year, ILO and Lexology recognized 222 individual winners across 33 US states and 4 Canadian provinces. A complete list of winners is available in the Client Choice Guide 2013 and fully searchable online at www.ClientChoiceAwards.com.

With a nationwide practice that focuses on representing management in all aspects of employment litigation, DeBlasio has specific expertise with claims arising under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, as well as the Fair Labor Standards Act.

DeBlasio has spoken extensively on a wide range of employment law topics before industry groups and associations. He is named Best Lawyers in America and is a member of the Labor and Employment Law section of the Florida Bar Association.
