Littler's Laura Lindner Awarded 2013 Client Choice Award by the International Law Office

CHICAGO, IL (March 6, 2013) – Laura A. Lindner, a shareholder in the Milwaukee office of Littler Mendelson, P.C. (Littler), the world’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has been awarded the 2013 International Law Office (ILO) Client Choice Award for Employment & Labor in Wisconsin. Established in 2005, the ILO Client Choice Awards recognize law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. Law firms and individuals are nominated for these awards by corporate counsel.

Winners of the ILO Client Choice Award were selected through a survey administered exclusively to senior corporate counsel, with this year’s winners chosen from more than 2,000 individual client assessments. Firms and partners were assessed on the following criteria: quality of legal advice, value for money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of technology. Building on the success of the international program, Client Choice - USA & Canada 2013 recognizes winners by work area at state and province level. This year 222 individual winners across 33 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces were recognized. Winning firms were chosen in 43 states and four provinces across the U.S. and Canada. Laura was also recently named the 2012 “Up and Coming” Employment Lawyer of the Year by Chambers USA. She focuses her practice on employment and benefits litigation and represents clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as before governmental agencies. In her 20 years of practice, she has litigated every type of employment dispute, from class-based discrimination and wage claims to unfair competition temporary restraining order actions. She also has defended employers in labor arbitration cases.
