Littler Mendelson Announces Four New Shareholders; Strengthens Leadership in Cleveland

San Francisco, CA/January 24, 2008 -- Littler Mendelson, P.C. Timothy Anderson, Linda Hauserman Harrold, Bonnie Kristan and Shannon Patton are new shareholders in Littler's Cleveland, OH office.

Anderson's practice is focused on employment litigation, labor arbitrations and assisting employers in resolving employment-related issues. He has handled a wide variety of employment cases ranging from age, gender, race, religion and disability discrimination to issues involving the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and employee harassment, as well as class and collective action litigation. Anderson also has represented employers in employment, discipline, and contract interpretation arbitrations. Additionally, he assists employers develop workplace policies and procedures. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan, cum laude, in 1999 and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami (Phi Beta Kappa), magna cum laude, in 1996.

Harrold's practice is focused on employment law matters in judicial and administrative proceedings with an emphasis on equal employment opportunity, FMLA, wage and hour, and non-compete issues. She has substantial experience as a mediator and arbitrator and serves several courts on arbitration panels and in mediations, including the Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Prior to joining Littler, Harrold established the firm of Belkin & Harrold Co., L.P.A., where she was a shareholder for thirteen years. She was previously a partner at Hahn, Loeser & Parks. Harrold earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law (Order of the Coif) in 1979, her Master of Arts in Teaching from Oberlin College in 1970 and her Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College (Phi Beta Kappa) in 1969.

Kristan's practice is focused on the areas of workers' compensation, OSHA, unemployment and employment litigation. Kristan earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1998, where she received a Law Fellows Scholarship. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from Miami University in 1993.

Patton's practice is focused on labor relations law and employment litigation, with an emphasis on wage and hour issues. She frequently lectures on the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Patton earned her Juris Doctor from Ohio State University in 1998 and her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Miami University in 1995.
