William K. Brumbach has substantial experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving:
- Violations of non-compete agreements and other restrictive covenants
- Breaches of fiduciary duty
- Breaches of the duty of loyalty
Will represents clients in federal and state courts in South Carolina and in investigations before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, and the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission. He has also defended employment discrimination claims under:
- Title VII
- The Americans with Disabilities Act
- The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
- The Family and Medical Leave Act
- The Sarbanes-Oxley Act
- The South Carolina Human Affairs Law
In addition to Will's litigation practice, he has counseled clients on compliance with employment laws, drafting employee handbooks, and drafting severance/employee retention agreements. He also teaches business law as an adjunct faculty member at Limestone College.
Before joining Littler, he practiced in the Atlanta office of another firm and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lacy Thornburg, United States District Judge, Western District of North Carolina.
