Vanessa K. Hackett advises and represents management in a broad range of employment matters arising under state and federal laws. She appears in Massachusetts state and federal district courts and before administrative agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and has specific experiences with:
- Title VII
- The Massachusetts Fair Employment Practices Law
- The Massachusetts Wage Act
- The Massachusetts Independent Contractor statute
Previously, Vanessa worked as an associate in the labor and employment and litigation departments of another firm. In law school, she was note editor for the Suffolk University Law Review. She worked as a teacher prior to attending law school.
