Tony R. Skogen has more than 35 years of experience as a management-side labor and employment lawyer. With an emphasis in wage and hour matters and class action litigation, he handles all phases of litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, such as:

• The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
• The Department of Labor Standards Enforcement
• The Occupational Safety and Health Administration
• The National Labor Relations Board
• The California Public Utilities Commission
• The Federal Communications Commission

Tony works with clients in a wide range of industries, and he has handled all aspects of labor and employment law and employee benefits litigation, including both jury and class action cases.  He also has counseled companies on:

• Wage and hour issues
• Discrimination
• Wrongful termination of employment
• Workplace investigations

His experience with traditional labor matters includes union avoidance, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices and other matters before the NLRB, as well as more than 100 labor arbitrations to decision.

Tony was the managing shareholder in the Los Angeles office of Littler Mendelson until 2008. While most of his experience has been in private practice, he also worked in-house at a major communications company, where he served as head of the Employment Group in Los Angeles, overseeing all labor and employment law matters for southern California. After law school, Tony was a law clerk to George Rose Smith, Associate Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. During law school, he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Arkansas Law Review.
