Susan K. Fitzke has significant experience litigating a broad range of employment disputes. Susan routinely defends against employment claims asserted in state and federal courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and other state and local human rights agencies across the country. Susan has specific experience litigating claims arising under:
- Title VII
- The Americans with Disabilities Act
- The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
- The Family and Medical Leave Act
- State and federal whistleblower statutes
- Various state law contract and tort theories
Susan also routinely advises employers with regard to:
- Reductions-in-force
- Employee counseling and discipline
- Leaves of absence
- Investigations
- All other aspects of personnel management
Additionally, Susan conducts training programs on issues of workplace harassment and managing problem employees. Susan’s clients range from national and regional retailers and restaurants to companies in technology design and manufacturing, along with other service providers.
