Sue M. Douglas is a certified specialist in the practice of labor and employment law by the Labor and Employment Law Specialty Board of the Ohio State Bar Association and represents the firm's corporate and public sector clients in a range of employment law matters, from discrimination and equal pay issues to wage and hour matters, in jury trials and in administrative proceedings at the federal and state levels. She appears in federal and state courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission on matters involving:

• The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
• The Americans With Disabilities Act
• The Equal Pay Act
• The Family and Medical Leave Act
• The Fair Labor Standards Act

In addition to her trial practice, Sue provides ongoing counsel to clients regarding employment policies and practices and compliance. She also serves as a neutral in mediations and arbitrations involving all aspects of employment law.

Sue is the office managing shareholder of Littler Mendelson's Cleveland office and a co-chair of the firm's Discrimination and Harassment Practice Group. She also serves on the firm's Diversity Council and Legal Content Advisory Committee. Earlier in her career, Sue was associated with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as a trial attorney.
