Stephanie is a skilled litigator and was a senior member of a team that succeeded in decertifying a Rule 23 class action of 5,000 insurance agents who alleged misclassification. Her considerable experience allows her to effectively:
- Litigate wage and hour class/collective actions
- Litigate discrimination and harassment claims
- Handle arbitration and mediation
- Provide wage and hour and exemption auditing
- Assist clients with class action avoidance and defense
She also counsels management on other facets of employment litigation, such as defamation, tortious interference and the application and review of personnel policies, handbooks, and procedures. Additionally, she conducts employment law, unlawful workplace harassment and diversity training for employees and managers.
Stephanie currently serves as a member of Littler Mendelson's Diversity Council Advisory Board. Prior to joining Littler, Stephanie litigated both employment and commercial cases, including actions for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud and deceptive trade practices, tortious interference with contracts, and defamation at another law firm.
