SoRelle B. Brown advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment and labor law matters under federal and state laws. Her practice focuses on defending employers in wage and hour actions arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act and various state laws, including complex class and collective actions involving overtime and other wage-related claims.
In addition to representing employers in litigation, SoRelle offers counseling on preventive legal strategies, such as compliance audits of human resources and wage practices. She consults with employers on statistical analysis to assess clients’ hiring, promotion and compensation practices for compliance with applicable laws. SoRelle also represents employers in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims brought under both federal and state discrimination laws.
Prior to attending law school, SoRelle worked as a marketing director and project manager for technology and media companies. In law school, she served as articles editor of the Georgia Law Review and was a founding officer of the Labor and Employment Law Association.
