Milton E. Castro focuses his practice on discrimination and harassment issues, and compliance with wage and hour laws. His experience includes handling matters involving:
- Title VII
- The Americans with Disabilities Act
- The Fair Labor Standards Act
- The Illinois Human Rights Act
- The Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act
- The Illinois Wage Deduction Act
- The Illinois Income Withholding for Support Act
Milton represents food production and distribution companies, and hotels and retailers before the Illinois circuit courts and various administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Illinois Department of Labor.
Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Milton served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1997 to 2002. Immediately following the events of 9/11, Milton deployed to Afghanistan where he participated in Operation Enduring Freedom along with his unit, the 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines.
