Overview

Michelle M. Holmes advises and represents employers with all types of labor and employment matters, including defending clients in lawsuits and administrative proceedings that involve wrongful termination, employment discrimination, wage and hour, and harassment.  She also counsels employers to maintain compliance with all state and federal employment laws and in day-to-day employment issues, such as:

  • Workplace investigations
  • Wage and hour issues
  • Workplace violence
  • Public employment relations board proceedings
  • Administrative mandamus hearings for public entities

Michelle frequently works with public entities including school districts, county offices of education, and special districts. During law school, she served as an editor for the Journal of International Media & Entertainment Law. She was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, the International Law Journal, and the BLSA Mock Trial team.
