Mary E. Sharp advises and represents employers in various areas of employment law with an emphasis on wage and hour matters. She appears before federal and state agencies and courts and handles wage and hour investigations and collective, multiple-plaintiff, and single-plaintiff actions involving overtime, other wage-related claims, and equal employment disputes.

She also specializes in assisting employers with the development of forward-thinking compliance measures designed to reduce wage and hour disputes and counsels employers on wage and hour compliance issues and audits.
Additionally, Mary conducts training on wage and hour issues for management personnel, lawyers, and human resources professionals. She also is a regular speaker before business organizations and human resource groups concerning employment topics and wage and hour issues.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mary spent several years in the banking industry, holding various managerial positions with a major regional bank. In law school, she was a Law Review Board member and a student writing editor.
