Lena K. Sims represents employers in federal and state court litigation, arbitrations, and in administrative proceedings throughout California in claims involving:

  • Trade secret misappropriation
  • Employee solicitation
  • Employment discrimination and harassment
  • Wrongful termination
  • Breach of contract
  • Class-wide wage and hour violations

Her trial successes include a defense jury verdict in an independent contractor misclassification case and a defense jury verdict for an employer accused of trade secret misappropriation, interference with customer relationships and unlawful solicitation of employees.

Additionally, Lena has presented numerous times before management and human resources professionals on topics including trade secrets, employee mobility, sexual harassment and discrimination, and California wage and hour training for small businesses.

Stormes, United States District Court, Southern District of California. She also was a judicial extern to District Judge Lawrence K. Karlton, United States District Court, Eastern District of California.
