Kayvan Iradjpanah represents and counsels employers in a broad spectrum of employment and labor law matters, including:

  • Wrongful termination
  • Discrimination and harassment complaints
  • Wage and hour disputes and compliance

  • Personnel policies, including employee handbooks
  • Labor arbitrations

Kayvan represents a variety of employers, ranging from Fortune 500 companies and small businesses to public entities, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions.  He regularly appears in state and federal court on behalf of clients.  He counsels employers by preparing and updating employee handbooks, tailoring personnel policies for specific industries/operations, and conducting trainings for managers.

Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Kayvan served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Steven B. Berlin of the Department of Labor's Office of Administrative Law Judges. He also worked at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where he interned in its legal department and for the Honorable Administrative Judge Daniel E. Leach. Kayvan also served as a counselor on employment law issues at the San Francisco Legal Aid Society – Employment Law Center. In law school, he served on the board of the Employment and Labor Law Student Association and was development editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review.
