John L. Telford focuses his practice primarily on representing management in labor and employment matters, addressing positive employment and union-related issues such as:

  • Collective bargaining
  • Labor arbitrations
  • Election campaigns
  • Proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board

He also guides clients through the myriad of labor and employment issues associated with business restructuring. He represents airline industry clients governed by the Railway Labor Act.  In his employment practice, John represents management in litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, defending them against allegations of:

  • Discrimination
  • Harassment
  • Reasonable accommodation
  • Non-compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act
  • Breach of contract
  • Wrongful termination
