Jeff Timmerman represents and advises employers of all sizes in various areas of labor and employment law before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. His practice focuses primarily on employment litigation, particularly claims involving wage and hour issues and discrimination. He also has experience with matters that arise under:
- Title VII
- The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
- The Fair Labor Standards Act
- State and Federal wage garnishment and support withholding laws
Additionally, Jeff advises clients about the implementation and enforcement of personnel policies and procedures, the drafting of employment-related agreements, and employee disciplinary matters. He also provides counseling that addresses wage and hour audits, compliance, and wage garnishments and attachments.
