Littler

Jacqueline J. Lichty devotes her practice to employment litigation and counseling, with particular experience in trade secret and wrongful competition litigation and drafting and enforcement of multi-state compliant non-competition agreements. She has handled several high-profile "bet the company" non-competition matters, one of which recently garnered national attention.

Appearing in state and federal courts in Texas, Jackie also has a wealth of experience with wage and hour collective actions and litigates employment discrimination and retaliation cases arising under :

  • Title VII
  • The Americans with Disabilities Act
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
  • The Family and Medical Leave Act
  • The Texas Labor Code

Jackie also conducts employment law and anti-harassment training for her clients, which include restaurants, staffing companies, and high technology corporations.

A core team member of the firm's Unfair Competition and Trade Secrets Practice Group, Jackie regularly authors client updates on developments in noncompetition law.

Jackie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry Lee Hudspeth, United States District Court, Western District of Texas, from 1994 until 1996. In law school, she was a member of the Legal Research Board.
