Littler

Emily Yates advises and represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters. She has litigated cases at the trial and appellate levels relating to employment discrimination, covenants not to compete and trade secrets, wage and hour, contract disputes, and various state law claims. Emily practices in both state and federal courts, including the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Emily practiced labor and employment law with an Indiana-based law firm.

In law school, Emily was a member of the Editorial Board of the Indiana Law Review and participated in the Honorable Robert H. Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition. She also served as a member of the Executive Board of the Dean’s Tutorial Society.
