Daniela has practiced labor and employment law and occupational, health and safety law for more than 10 years. She has handled matters before national courts, the Labor Inspector, Inpsasel and other state agencies. Her expertise is in managing the process of massive layoffs and union negotiations, and drafting and interpretation of collective agreements.
Daniela is currently studying for her Magister Scientiarum in Private International Law at the Universidad Central de Venezuela.
Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, she was labor counsel for a pharmaceutical company where she handled union negotiations and assisted the company in their dealings with government agencies. She was also labor counsel for a construction company where she provided advice regarding labor and union matters, including collective bargaining agreements, and oversaw occupational, safety and health matters.
