Cindy-Ann Thomas has dedicated most of her legal career to providing companies with proactive workforce training and education programs. She designs and presents programs that help companies avoid employment-related litigation, while emphasizing employee retention and development. She also delivers effective, one-on-one executive sensitivity counseling programs. Cindy-Ann has represented, counseled and trained employers in a range of industries, including:

Her defense experience has involved a variety of matters, including:

  • Title VII discrimination and harassment claims

She also has helped numerous clients in both the private and public sectors to develop employee handbooks, policies, and practices.

Beyond the traditional practice of law, Cindy-Ann brings a unique skill set to Littler Mendelson as an experienced and certified diversity consultant and facilitator. In this capacity, she develops and delivers relevant and meaningful, skills-based training services for both leadership members and individual contributors. She also provides diversity & inclusion process consulting services, organizational culture assessments, and strategic executive briefings.

Cindy-Ann regularly speaks before professional associations, human resource groups, universities, and industry trade groups throughout the country.

Prior to her legal career, Cindy-Ann was a human resources executive at an international business development corporation. There, she addressed many of the legal issues facing the companies she now advises and trains. In addition to a law degree, Cindy-Ann holds a Facilitator Certification in Strategic Diversity Management and a Certification in Human Resources Management.
