Littler

Chad J. Kaldor advises and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters arising under federal and state laws. He appears regularly in state and federal courts, as well as before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, handling matters that arise under:

  • Title VII
  • The Age Discrimination in Employment Act
  • The Older Worker Benefits Protection Act
  • The Fair Credit Reporting Act
  • The Ohio Uniform Trade Secrets Act
  • The Ohio Civil Rights Act
  • Ohio law regarding restrictive covenant agreements and unfair competition

His practice also involves drafting, analyzing, and litigating restrictive covenant agreements; litigating trade secret cases; handling discrimination issues; ensuring OWBPA compliance in reductions-in-force; public employer collective bargaining; interest arbitration; and Fair Credit Reporting Act cases.

A skilled litigator, Chad has obtained summary judgments in cases involving sexual harassment, race, sex, pregnancy and wage discrimination, and retaliation, among other claims. He also recently prevailed on behalf of a client in a whistleblower case arising under Ohio law, in which the court granted a summary judgment.

After graduating from law school, Chad served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Brian Sandoval of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. In law school, he was Managing Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.
