Carrie A. Brantley focuses her practice on employment and labor litigation and counseling. She builds positive outcomes for employers by simplifying complex regulations and using common sense to provide practical solutions.
Carrie provides general employment advice and counsel on a wide range of issues such as reduction-in-force, terminations, wage and hour compliance issues and hiring. She has handled employment matters arising under state and federal laws and other statutory and regulatory issues, including:
- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
- The Railway Labor Act
In addition, Carrie has worked with employers to draft employee manuals, employment agreements, severance agreements, and other employment related documents.
Prior to joining Littler Mendelson, Carrie practice included labor and employment law and complex commercial litigation at another law firm in Denver. She began her practice at a firm in Fort Worth, Texas. Apart from her law practice, she is a talented photographer whose work was published in a book, Cowboy: The Ultimate Guide to Living Like a Great American Icon.
In law school, Carrie was a member of the Baylor national moot court and mock trial teams.
