Retailers are under constant pressure to control expenses, the largest component of which is labor. Changes to the FLSA “white collar” overtime exemption regulations, published on June 30, 2015, could have a profound impact on the labor expenses of all retailers. This Littler webinar will outline the substance of the proposed changes; discuss how the new regulations will impact employees currently classified as an exempt manager and also outline the steps a retailer can take to audit their current workforce, gauge their potential risk exposure and assess their need to make changes should the proposed regulations become law.
