Using Serengeti Tracker - More Than a Matter Management Tool
Thursday, March 4
- 8:00 AM PST
ACC Small Law Department Management Practice Group and Littler present: Matter Management Tools Using Serengeti Tracker, Microsoft Outlook and Other Systems for Effective Matter Management
Can you quickly identify legal projects that are off-track, over-budget, or developing significant exposure?
Most in-house counsel do not have the necessary tools to continuously review the status of all legal work being performed for their company. As a result, in-house counsel may not always be able to identify developing problems in a timely manner. There are a number of matter management tools on the market to assist in-house counsel. This program will review one of these matter management tools, Serengeti Tracker. Serengeti Tracker provides automatic alerts and detailed reports that help you catch problems early and quickly address them. Serengeti Tracker also streamlines the budgeting process by providing one online workspace that includes your estimates, law firm budgets, and historical spending. This system further tracks amounts spent against the budget and helps you make budget adjustments if necessary. You will see a demonstration of how one company uses this system to manage all outside counsel and internal law department relationships. Whether your company has hundreds of in-house lawyers or just a single attorney, a matter management system may help your department work more efficiently and effectively.
Please join us Thursday, March 4, 2010 for a discussion with inside and outside counsel on the functional and economic benefits of matter management systems.
