The Top Employment & Labor Trends to Watch in the Year Ahead

Please join us for an informative two hour briefing where we will focus on current issues and trends in employment law for 2011 and how employers should respond to these developments in their day-to-day operations. The focus will be on what employers need to do, and practical steps employers can take to avoid legal issues.

This program will provide a unique opportunity to understand the latest court cases, legislative and regulatory activity, and crucial developments that will affect your workplace and responsibilities in 2011. The program will address important topics such as:

  • Increased wage and hour law protections for workers, including the recently enacted New York Wage Theft Prevention Act
  • Recent developments at the National Labor Relations Board that effect all employers (even those who are non-union), including the use of social media by employees.
