Fall Employment Law Mini-Series

Human resources and trade secrets are high on most business organizations' list of most valuable assets. In addition to common law protections of their investments in these assets, many employers have confidentiality, no-solicitation, anti-raiding and non-compete agreements with employees who are in key positions. As a result, hiring a competitor's executive, sales or technical employees can lead to litigation involving significant potential liability and legal expense.

In this program, we will provide guidance on how to manage the hiring process in order to minimize the risk of liability for tortious interference, trade secret and conspiracy claims, and on preventing misappropriation of trade secrets by departing employees and competitors.
