The Department of Labor's Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) issued final compensation guidelines on June 16, 2006 that detail their approach regarding the investigation and enforcement of systemic compensation discrimination against women and minorities.

The OFCCP also recently sent a new wave of audit letters to government contractors in several regions - closing in on the agency's target 9000+ audits this fiscal year - requesting total compensation and total number of employees. However, these letters are without clear indications of what format should be used to submit the compensation and employee information.

Littler attorneys Alissa A. Horvitz and Joshua S. Roffman present a special interactive webinar to highlight the major points of the final compensation guidelines and offer strategies and pragmatic advice for managing the compensation portion of the desk audit submission. Questions to addressed include:

  • What are the pros and cons of doing a self-audit?
  • What standards will OFCCP use to determine whether to advance a systemic compensation discrimination audit to an on-site phase?
  • Since the OFCCP uses multiple regression analyses in assessing employer compensation practices, is it advisable for contractors to engage in the same type of self-critical analysis?
  • What are the litigation exposure perils for the employer that follows OFCCP's lead and conducts multiple regression analyses of its compensation practices?

Register today for one of the three times this webinar will be conducted.

There will be ample opportunity for questions.
