In 2008, Massachusetts became the first state to mandate awards of treble damages to prevailing plaintiffs in wage and hour cases. As the one-year anniversary of this statute draws near, Massachusetts is poised to become the new venue of choice for plaintiffs' lawyers. Accordingly, the attorneys of Littler Mendelson invite you to join them for an informative presentation regarding the state of the law in Massachusetts regarding wage and hour class actions.

During this session, we will discuss:

  • Common problems that lead to class action lawsuits
  • Practical solutions for resolving those problems
  • Strategies and tactics for defending against these costly and potentially devastating claims
