The Impact of the 2012 Elections on Labor, Employment and Benefits Law

Thursday, January 24

  • 8:00 AM PST
Fairport, NY

The 2012 elections will likely go down in history as the vote about jobs, and as many of us are acutely aware, workplace policy impacts job creation as well as employers' compliance obligations. President Obama's second term will likely result in initiatives and trends that each employer should anticipate. To help address these issues, presenters will explore the future of:

  • The Affordable Care Act
  • The EEOC's Strategic Plan
  • The current NLRB's expanding agenda for the union free employer
  • Department of Labor initiatives regarding the Fair Labor Standards Act, Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, workplace safety and OFCCP regulations and enforcement
