With the oncoming implementation of the federal contractor E-verify requirement, this immigration briefing will deal with the implications for employers and discuss the latest compliance issues that employers are facing in the current climate of markedly increased immigration enforcement and regulation. We will examine the federal government's E-Verify program — past, present and future. We will also discuss state law immigration compliance issues, their interplay with federal obligations and what these additional laws mean for employers. The changes in the new Form I-9 released on April 3, 2009 will also be discussed. Finally, we will address the current economic conditions and how it impacts your company's nonimmigrant workforce.

Please join us on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 for a lively and informative update on how these developments involving e-Verify and new From I-9 will affect employers.

During this session, we will cover:
